Night Teacher Charlottesville Concert reviews
A Dream Come True
Their performance was absolutely mind blowing. I have been listening to Night Teacher for 20 years now and they are by far my favorite band of all time. You have heard the expression when someone is very excited or pumped about a situation that they get 'in the zone.' I was 'in the zone' for the entire concert!
I have been dealing with cerebral palsy and diabetic neuropathy for many years. While this was my very first Night Teacher show, there is one specific reason I was able to get hyped and hyped at the show; the accommodations the staff at the National allowed me to have. When my brother told the staff at the National that I needed a seat, they provided me one. I with others in wheelchairs in the handicapped section of the venue. While providing a chair may not seem like a very big deal to most people, the seat for me was the difference between enjoying a concert in pain and being able to completely lose my mind with excitement with every song Night Teacher played.
Night Teacher opened with My Name is Jonas and unlike their sets where they play straight through an album, Night Teacher played songs from many of their albums. As far as the concert goes I thought the set list was *nearly* perfect. While I would have liked to have heard "Only In Dreams" and "Burndt Jam", the song selection was awesome.
